NEW YORK, NY 10128

SATURDAY, November 9 at 8:00 P.M.

Twenty-four nylon strings tackle transcriptions of Piazzolla’s shadowy Concierto para quinteto and selections from bouncy tango suite Estaciones Porteñas; a suite of songs by Kurt Weill, written with epic theater-maker Bertolt Brecht; and choice favorites from the rock and reggae idioms. Transcending the boundaries of performance, the quartet will also render several spirited and often percussive works by its own members Reentko Dirks, Pavel Steidl, and Thomas Fellow.
